A Pea in the Pod month-long style drive for expectant moms

High-fashion maternity boutique A Pea in the Pod is joining forces with denim brand 7 for all Mankind and skin care company basq in a series of events showcasing the best products for style-conscious moms-to-be.

A favorite among Hollywood’s celebrity moms, A Pea in the Pod has dressed Jessica Alba, Minnie Driver, Naomi Watts, Salma Hayek, Tori Spelling, Marcia Cross, Cate Blanchett and more.

As part of the month-long promotion, denim specialists from 7 for all Mankind (which recently launched a line of maternity jeans exclusively at A Pea in the Pod) will provide advice on how to find the best jean for the pregnant silhouette.

Representatives from basq--whose products work wonders on everything from stretch-marks to break-outs, and fatigue to swollen legs--will discuss skin care issues that arise during pregnancy and introduce their newest products and spa treatments.

Guests will be be treated to hand and foot mini-massages using basq products. Each shopper to make a basq and 7 for all Mankind purchase will receive a complimentary beauty gift from basq, as well as a chance to win a pair of 7 for all Mankind jeans, an A Pea in the Pod top and a basq Gift Set.

The events take place at seven A Pea in the Pod locations throughout September. The kickoff event will be held at the A Pea in the Pod boutique within Destination Maternity, 28 East 57th Street, New York City, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on September 12, 2008.
