The Dual
Many a beauty product promises to hydrate, lift, plump lines, fight acne and generally beautify. That would have to be one amazing moisturizer. Well leave it to favorite Japanese line SK-II to meet that problem head-on, launching a new two-piece mask this month. The theory is that primary signs of aging appear horizontally on the upper hemisphere of the face, while vertical aging (like sagging) happens on the lower hemisphere. Thus SK-II’s new Signs Dual Treatment Mask offers separate stretchable cloths for the upper and lower halves of the face and treats them differently, although both are infused with Vitamins B3, B5 and E, as well as Hydroxyproline, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide and Carnitine Hydroycitrate for firmness. The mask is designed to work well no matter what hemisphere you’re in. $110, Bloomingdales, 1000 Third Ave., (212) 705-2000
