Savitch Beast

On Tuesday American Rag, Yellow, Apartment 3 and their boutique peers were just minding their own biz and basking in the glow of their ongoing success, when it happened: Lily Savitch landed on La Brea. This new Nolita-style loft space boutique touched with gold drapes and ostrich plumes favors classic style over trends (a growing concept in LA), featuring designers like Cacharel, Chaiken, Jill Stuart, Rozae Nichols, Sydney (cashmere pieces by Max Azria’s nephew), Society for Rational Dress, Grey Ant, Pancake Dinner (which features the unique throw pillows pictured here) and Plastic Heaven. Eclectic shoes from Marcello Toshi, Chie Mahara and Matt Bernson also abound. Watch out La Brea boutiques. There’s a new shop in town and it's Savitch. $50-$2,000, Lily Savitch, 524 ½ N.
