Getting The Boots

Although the British Invasion was generally considered a good thing, I’m on the fence about certain other British exports, like Marmite and the Beckhams. England won’t take Snoop, but we’re supposed to absorb Posh Spice? Fortunately, beloved British pharmacy and Beauty line, Boots, has also just arrived in the U.S.  On Tuesday evening, a Sunset Tower Hotel blue carpet bash in the Terrace Room announced the arrival of the Boots collection at Target. Under American and British flags, Paris Hilton, Sophia Bush, Ali Larter, Christina Milian and Emmy Rossum tippled Bass Ale (black and tan, anyone?) to Johnny Walker Black. The starlets also sampled products from all different Boots lines. Boots’ Target collection includes everything from Mediterranean Body Butter to No7 Super Slim Anti-Cellulite Balm and Restore & Renew Beauty Serum. Give us back Madonna (minus the accent), and maybe we've got a fair trade. $7.99-$17.99, Target
