Home Remedy
Lounging on Sundays you sport your favorite comfy trouser jeans. For a weeknight dinner, you prefer the dark straight legs. For a late night out, you choose skinnies with platforms. The only thing you don’t do in jeans is sleep. At least we hope not. Either way, you have a denim disease that fortunately is easily Remedy-ed. Husband and wife team Melody and Matthew Fuhr have created Remedy, a new line of non-denim pants in the style of favorite jeans. In neutrals like steel, gray, beige and slate these handmade pieces are dyed and finished in European non-denim novelty fabrics so that they’ll fade and wear like jeans. Slick drainpipe zipper skinnies, Ryder equestrian crop trousers, and even pencil skirts maintain the sass of denim with slightly upscale fabric. Because every once in while, you’ve got to step out of the blue. $175-$215, remedybrand.com, LA: Fred Segal Santa Monica, 500 Broadway, NYC: Lounge, 593 Broadway
