The Derby
You’ve got your big sun hat, oversized glasses and Tibi floral dress, but, alas, no ticket to the Kentucky Derby this weekend. Still, that doesn’t mean you can’t raise a glass in honor of the swanky, historic event. As an updated alternative to the Mint Julep, Plymouth Gin has created a special cocktail called "The Major Bailey." Muddle twelve fresh mint leaves with two ounces of Plymouth Gin, Add a quarter of an ounce each of fresh squeezed lime juice, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Then strain the mixture into a glass of crushed ice, and garnish with a mint sprig. Plymouth Gin: $23.99, plymouthgin.com
