Fabric of Our Lives
Itchy wool, suffocating silk, unmovable down: why do cold weather months have to equal irritating fabrics? The simple answer is that they don’t. The girls at Puella, Sarah Woodward Becker and Sarah Cius, have ensured a comfortable autumn with their fall line. Each month the two Sarahs introduce new styles to their collection in soft, washable fabrics with custom-designed now copyrighted patterns from Aztec to Maise. While September boasts a vibrant turquoise turtleneck and gravel drawstring tunic, October welcomes an even bigger line of Printed Drawstring Dresses, blackberry colored Smock Tanks, and layered Turtlenecks. As if that wasn’t enough, November bursts forth with Bubble Skirt Dresses in Brick and a Collared Button Down in yet another amazing fabric called Moon. $35 and up, puellagirl.com
