GO GREEN: Water Works

Carpe Diem Botanic Water launchesVitamin water is fabulous—if you don’t mind drinking fruit punch instead of actual agua. Most of the time, "enhanced" waters have more sugar and preservatives than health benefits. Until Carpe Diem Botanic Water came on the scene. This all natural drink is made purely with herbal extracts, organic pear extract and spring water from the Austrian Alps. The three flavors boast different benefits from specific herbs chosen in collaboration with the Institute for Applied Botany. The Relaxing version employs extracts of thyme, lemon balm, lavender, hops, passionflower, peppermint, rose petal, limeflower and orange peel. The Harmonizing water blends assai, hibiscus, birch leaf, blackberry leaf, elderflower, coriander, dandelion, marigold and juniper. And lastly the Vitalizing beverage combines galangal, cardamom, quince, elderflower, rose hip, ginger, birch leaf and lemon grass. Also they all have a light taste that doesn’t recall blood red camp bug juice and won't send you into sugar shock, which is always a plus. It’s just easier to say "Carpe Diem" when you’re taking care of your body. Around $1.99, Whole Foods, Bristol Farms and other specialty retailers.
