No plan is more perfect than a casual dinner at the Farmers Market on Fairfax followed by a movie at The Grove. Unless it’s raining or cold, in which case that plan sucks. Well now you can grab a quick bite without braving the cold at the Farmers Market’s newest indoor addition Kado Sushi, Teppan, Lounge. The conveyer belt sushi bar—perfect for a quick snack—is full of tasty standards and new innovations like the Nori Tostada (spicy tuna and crab on tempura nori). Hint: ask the sushi chef for halibut with shiso leaf! The restaurant across the way offers chef showboating Teppan dining (the filet is delish!) and a regular dinner menu including treats like Halibut With Yuzu Kosho Cream and Japanese Sea Scallops With Shitake Risotto. So you can grab your pre-movie bite without facing the elements. Sounds like a perfect plan. Dinner $17 and up (complimentary dessert coupon is offered on the website), Kado, 633 W. Third St., (323) 933-0055
