Wednesday win--Parker Blue

Parker Blue is a newly-launched luxury casuals line comprising sexy cashmere, tees and mini-dresses in the softest fabrics imaginable. The folks behind it have worked with everyone from Versace to D&G as consultants, and now this is their big launch. You can buy the line at Barneys, Linda Dresner, Fred Segal and at parkerbluecollection.com.
Or you could win one of the pieces from the line, this super-cute Veda shirt in indigo blue from the Parker Blue Resort collection.
All you have to do to win is to tell us this: if you launched your own clothing line, what would you name it, and why? Post your answers as a comment, and be sure to include your email address.

Hi! Very good sait!

I would name it Conibear My last name, after my grandmother - whose legacy was one of kindness, openess and grace. Plus, it sounds cool : ) writetolis@hotmail.com

I think I''d name my line "lemondrop". I like how it sounds -- fun, sugary, and full of good things!

I would name my clothing line Compassion Ink. The products would contain designs and logos that support certain causes and I would set aside some of the proceeds to go to the charities they supported. Compassion = to show love to other people through a simple means; Ink = instead of "inc." Email is jessica.morris-2@selu.edu

My clothing line -Queen2B...because I am so tired of seeing princess everything every where..I have two daughters and yes I buy them princess stuff..and I call them princess but I am starting a clothing line for original... fashion forward... and just plain tired of Princess on everything mothers...any way a princess is just a Queen to be....coming to Majestic Boutiques near U

I'd go with "Pure Bred Mutt," which is what I always tell people that both I and my adopted puppy are. Because, in a sense, that's what fashion is all about anyways: mixing it up until it becomes your own! (katzy1@gmail.com)

stacey.gersten@gmail.com oops! almost forgot

I have thought about this a long time ago. I would name my denim line Protein Denim - as in the basic building blocks of fashion. The line would expand into hoodies, tops, dress, bathing suits. All fabulous "basics"

"Pella D''Oro" which basically means, skin of gold...glow on girl..

Posted by G.Casny | Dec 14 2007 7:56AM

If I had a line, I would name it Hep Cat. The clothes would be rich, textured, and use deep colors while taking a modern, hip spin on styles from the 1940's jazz era. (jendaniels606@gmail.com)

Solid24kt-Women wear it, and feel like pure gold!

If starting a clothing line I would consider naming it "SkinDeep". A rather convoluted explanation...funny yet sincere; channel surfing last night I came across a mother/daughter beauty pageant where the contestants came up with "team names". One was Skin Deep which caused the judges a bit of consternation and puzzled discussion, "Used in error? I don't get it! What??" was their inconclusive conclusion. I chuckled and thought about it. Certainly a controversial term on all counts. 'SkinDeep', clothing that's beautiful inside and out. 'SkinDeep', clothes as comfortable as the skin you're in, 'SkinDeep' because beauty is only...... robinflora@roadrunner.com

Mine is called "Forgiven" - scarves, shawls, capes, stoles & sweaters when you put them on, they impart a daily blessing - absolving you of all sorrows, and all regrets, enveloping you in a cloud of Mercy and sending you out into the world with gratitudes (otherland22@yahoo.com)

What's my Line: BOWERY SPHINX - 'cause to get really dressed one must get classicaly real. [feslaw@aol.com]

Posted by francie | Dec 13 2007 12:17PM

My line would be called EFFIGIES because I believe that true fashion is a form of sculpture and the latin origin of this synonym for sculpture means "to fashion artistically" firecrackerllc@aol.com

Posted by paigeboy | Dec 13 2007 12:01PM

If I had a fashion line, I would call it "Hippie Renaissance," because I like rich details and interesting color combinations.

Posted by hooligan | Dec 13 2007 11:48AM

I'd name the line "Glove" because all the clothes in my line would fit like a glove! jrzepka@reedbusiness.com

Posted by Jen | Dec 13 2007 11:44AM

"My Sister's Closet" would be the name of my line of clothing...we always found the best clothes there! judarsky@optonline.net

Posted by snowinghere | Dec 13 2007 11:43AM

If I launched my own clothing line, I would call it Basis or if that was already taken, I would call it Bissa. Why? The letters in the name are the combination of the first letters of my 5 grandchildren''s names.
