Nike + Apple Make a Run
Perhaps a new sweat-wicking shirt will jumpstart the workout? Or so the logic goes. Nike and Apple have thrown a gadget into the pot of potential purchases with the Nike + iPod Sport Kit. With a wireless sensor that fits snugly into the built-in pocket of Nike+ running shoes ($100) and a receiver that plugs into the Dock connector of the iPod Nano ($149-$249), runners can track time, pace, distance, calories burned, as well as get spoken feedback while working out. Nike and Apple are running all the way to the bank. Kit, $29, apple.com; iPod Nano, $149-$249, apple.com; Nike+ shoes, $100, niketown.com
