Eva's Ring Bearer?

The Stylephile is late to the game in commenting on Eva Longoria's much ballyhooed wedding to Tony Parker in Paris. Truth be told: we were rather nauseated by the vulgarity of the affair -- from the $30,000 wedding cake to the countless events to the $2 million they will receive from OK! for their wedding pictures. We're happy that she looks happy, but divulging so much info about the affair cheapened the proceedings--in our opinion.

Then, we saw this picture online and got a laugh. Apparently, there was a security guard and dog stationed outside the Saint Germain L'Auxerrois Church. Did Teri Hatcher get sniffed by the security dog before she traipsed in? Could Felicity Huffman's gown been imprinted with the wet nose stain of a German shepherd? Who has a damn security dog at her wedding? And couldn't someone have had the foresight to put a Chanel collar on that pup?

Dag nabit, I should have had more coffee before I sent this out it would have been better. I mean to say: If I was going to be doing the Big Wedding THAT (not the) would also be used to further or push my career along then I would want everything perfect, every "T" crossed, every "I" dotted. Oh well, such is life sometimes. For some reason I thought I was going to preview before it was sent, I will try and be more careful next blog. Have a Pip~A~Roo kind of day and an even better evening. L~N~R, Sue Morales-Finckel aka Mz. Natterz, RWWWW RezzChik@yahoo.com SAG member since 1989.

I think Eva and every girl out there should have every whistle and bell they want when it comes to getting the big W. I think the doggie should have been done up a bit more. They could have researched a bit more and maybe found some Designer Standard Poodles to be the gaurd dogs and had a more stylish handler, but heck, it was part of the security. If I was going to be doing the Big Wedding the would also be used to push my career along I would want to have every thing perfect, every "T" crossed every "I" dotted. I don''t think it was vulgar, it was business. Yes, marriage is a special thing but it is also business. If you was so far up the latter that you become untouchable then maybe you can thumb your nose at the business beast that is named "Show Biz" otherwise you play the game to get up there and to stay there. I doubt that the money they will make from the photos and the stories will cover very much of the price of the big and special day but it is an investment non the less. We agree. Overkill on the wedding. $30K cake could have fed a lot of homeless, and just giving half of that to the homeless would have garnered much more publicity. And any dog boutique could have provided a great Chanel coller. Even my German Shepard's colar and fur looks like a million bucks compared to the one in the picture. She also has bigger and wetter nose.
