Bend It Like Beckham
Ever since a boxer brief-clad Mark Wahlberg (then Marky Mark) dropped trou on billboards across America, men’s underwear options have increased. The choice extends far beyond traditional tighty-whitey versus boxer dilemmas and depends on everything from projected activity to current six-pack status. Still, guys are guys and comfort generally reigns supreme. Well here comes Markus Bender with his luxury Bend the Rules underwear. Bender spent a year creating the special comfy fabric, which supposedly uses natural cellulose fiber made from trees that regulates the "micro-climate" (temperature) and is also anti-bacterial. In solid black, white and Valentines-edition red, the undies also can don gothic graphics like skulls or crosses, for the dude who craves a little edge with his soft and cozy pair. $52-$62, bendtherules.com
