The Queen
In some scenarios maybe drag queens, disco, 10ft-tall dresses shaped like the Sydney Opera House and a bunch of Australians might be an odd combination. Not so tonight at Paramount, where some lucky folks including Brook Shields, Grey's Anatomy's Sara Ramirez and countless Aussie celebrities like Anthony LaPaglia (yup, he's Australian) will be celebrating Priscilla Queen of the Desert with a screening, after party and the first ever U.S. performances by the Sydney Stage cast. This wild event launches "G’Day USA" or Australia Week from today until January 20th, featuring Aussie-themed events in NYC and LA all week long. For Event Information: australia-week.com
