Empire State Strikes Back
You might have to end your ban on hipster tees after you check out the irreverent collection by Empire State. E.g.: “La Dream Team” shirt, featuring Osama Bin Laden, Gene Simmons, Michael Jackson, George Bush, Darth Vader and others. Designer Michael Sherman’s wares started out with a cult following in New York, but now everyone can find the tees at a new online shop. Other highlights include the "Red Nex" shirt, a la the Red Sox logo; and "The Last Supper," with a crew of hip-hop's dearly departed. $40, empirestatenyc.com
