Obama knee socks for presidential cheerleaders

Director Spike Lee scooped up armfuls of Obama knee socks at the Democratic National Convention, adding the finishing touches to his presidential cheerleading outfit.
Only 1,200 pairs of Obama knee socks have been made, and they're only available at Shopflick.com, a shopping site that  uses web videos to sell its wares.  The socks are navy with bold red lettering spelling "Obama" down each calf, and they are made of a cotton-poly-spandex blend that ensures a snug fit on a variety of leg shapes. They fit women's shoe sizes 5 1/2 through 11, although many guys have been buying them too. "I am a big wearer of knee socks—that's the only inspiration here," said the sock's designer Erica Easley, head buyer the Red Light Clothing Exchange in Portland. "I am not a political junkie. I just like cute clothes."
The socks are $15, buy here.
