Despite the countless world music, hip hop and rock yoga classes that lately attract hordes around L.A., purists believe that music negates the centered purpose of the practice. Still, fans (like this one) think tunes ease the dullness of an hour and a half of deep stretching. Breathe easy at Exhale this evening (4/12) from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., where a complimentary ocean view Vinyasa Flow class will be accompanied by live music. Notoriously toned Jessica Biel attends Exhale’s yoga classes, as does Jeremy Piven and The Pussy Cat Dolls, and you know they can go wherever they please. Afterward grab hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and mini-treatments from acupuncture to massage to facials on the studio’s rooftop. Plus, find out more about hot fitness fad Core Fusion.
