Pimp your water bottle
What with all the fuss about plastic water bottles clogging up landfills all over the world (have you read about the massive plastic island floating off the coast of California?) maybe it's time to find a new vessel for your favorite thirst quencher. I was alerted to SIGG, a Swiss company that has been making aluminum bottles since 1908. They have always prided themselves on their high-design approach (in 1993, Sigg was incorporated in to the MoMA in New York). It is also one of the toughest water bottles around (Backpacker magazine dubbed SIGG "the world's toughest water bottle" after conducting a series of rather violent tests).
The company has recently launched this series of bottles with pretty designs, for aesthetes like ourselves. Take a look.
