Marc Jacobs Moves In (L.A.)
The near-idolized designer has finally spared deprived Angelenos by opening his first two L.A. boutiques on Melrose Place over the weekend. Workers toiled around the clock for the last few weeks to make the soft opening of Marc by Marc Jacobs and Marc Jacobs Collection possible. Now Marc-a-holics have the breadth of both collections at their disposal, and not just the limited selections at Barneys or Satine. Colorful, spring hues dominate the more casual tops and pants at Marc by MJ, while accessories addicts will find bliss in the abundant selection of shoes and bags at the Collection store. There goes your paycheck for the next two months. 8400 Melrose Place, (323) 866-8255
