Wearing John Malkovich (L.A.)

John MalkovichJohn Malkovich has a new role: child advocate. The thesp and his fashion business partner Francesco Rulli have donated clothes from the John Malkovich Uncle Kimono collection for a March 12 auction benefiting the Hilltop Nursery School in Silver Lake. Its worth showing up just to see who among the PTA-soccer mom set will actually shell out a hundred bucks minimum for the overtly dandy wares (beret, anyone?) that Malkovich famously describes as being inspired by a "Swiss banker whos been let go." Call (323) 663-3025 for more info, 2801 Clearwater St.
