Kate Spade in Spades (NYC)
Speaking of world domination, the nearly-as-ubiquitous Kate Spade kicks off an annual sample sale tomorrow at the Metropolitan Pavilion (ends Nov. 21). Its slightly more civilized than schlepping to Canal Street for a knock-off, but just barely, thanks to pushy assistants buying for busy bosses, and unruly lines rivaling the Marquee on Saturday night. Bags, shoes, paper products and other accessories will be marked down to near-wholesale prices. 123 W. 18th St.
